Desert X is one of the episodes in Artbound series which is a site-specific contemporary art exhibition held in Coachella Valley in Southern California. The book design represents the desert environment and installation art dramatically with a vibrant color palette.
The “Artbound” series introduces music, installations, arts, movement, and the lives of artists across various cultures in the California region. The series introduces a variety of skills and artists that incorporate their legacy into the work and express them in contemporary art. The connection of each letter shows their unity and free movement in terms of approaching and expressing the art pieces. The logo is expected to express a composition where the public can look at various works and artists in southern California from multiple perspectives.

The purpose of Desert X is to become a platform that people can think about their history as community members in a desert culture. The book design represents the desert dramatically with a vibrant color palettet that can show the energy of the desert. Large types and images are placed as installation art on the page.
